Erin + Ryan I Deane House Wedding
The first e-mail Erin ever sent us said she was looking for a ‘boho, coachella-ish cocktail style wedding at Deane House’ … and you better believe we were hooked.
After only a few sips of coffee and five minutes with E+R we knew immediately that they vibe of the wedding was going to be F U N.
E+R loved color…..and they loved pattern…..and they basically loved anything that was a little ‘out of the box’ in terms of weddings. Which meant we were going to get to have a lot of fun with them! E+R had some many great ideas. We focused on bringing in complimentary bright colored furniture, mixing colors with patterns and adding in personalized elements on as many things as we could.
Guests were greeted with cocktails in brightly colored vintage glassware (a homage to E+R’s at home bar collection), a balloon installment and a ceremony backdrop (that the groom made himself!) to name a few of our favorite details.
The planning focused around making the night as memorable as possible. With a late ceremony and cocktail style reception, guests were able to go directly from the ceremony to the outdoor tent reception. The night included custom created his and her cocktails - The Erin and The Ryan - complete with custom cocktail stirrers, an acoustic lounge, outdoor first dances, lounge furniture and an epic indoor house party.
The 'We'll-Remember-This-Always' Moment
E+R have two pups (Marlee + Sully) who not only walked them down the aisle, but their custom portrait (done by Anna Hall) was featured in the acoustic lounge set up as well as on favours for guests. We loved how they incorporated them into the design flawlessly.
Oh…and their outfits. R’s shoes had us ready to invest in men’s loafers and E’s custom jacket had so much thought put into it. Plus - we’re always jealous of her hat game.
The Wrap Up
Our favorite thing in weddings is when we see couples incorporate the things they love into the day - and E+R did just that. Their wedding was quintessentially ‘them’ and we were SO glad we got to be part of their day!
