Kendal + Brandyn I Charbar Wedding
We are so excited to share this one with y'all! Peep below for more on Kendal + Brandyn's big day!
Kendal + Brandyn knew from day one that they wanted a wedding that was personal, laid back + informal. Having learned early on that they didn't love the planning process, we came on board to help so they could focus on having fun, getting married + sharing the day with their friends + family.
When we started the design process with K+B we were inspired by the aesthetic of the venue. We focused on bringing in organic colors + florals to enhance the natural brick + wood tones. As the reception was cocktail style, we focused less on tablescapes + instead on smaller creative elements that would make a big impact. Menus for the reception were handlettered on wooden breadboards, large statement fabric signage was created as backdrops + we added in one of our favorite floral trends, pampas grass for the arrangements.
Planning makes perfect....unless weather is involved, in which case, you've got to be up for anything! K+B got married on one of the most unpredictable weather days of 2017, where we saw snow, sleet, rain + sunshine all within the same hour. The original plan of having the ceremony on the rooftop and cocktails on the second floor, was in question a number of times (resulting in a couple of different ceremony set ups!), but eventually, the sun shone and the ceremony took place outside as planned. It was then followed by cocktails, canapes + a bit of an epic dance party.
The We'll-Remember-This-Always Moment
When we said 'epic dance party' above - we weren't kidding. K was one of the happiest, dancing brides we've ever had and it was our favorite thing to watch her bust a move.
The Wrap Up
We were so glad that we got to be a part of K+B's day! We loved getting to work with them on all their personalized details (they even did a 'Kendal + Brandyn' Milk Jar Candle Co. candle as their favours).

A PS From K+B
My fiancé and I were in way over our heads trying to plan our wedding. We had already cancelled the first plan because we were stressed out and had no idea what we were doing. Seriously people, leave it to the professionals and keep your sanity. We met with Lindsay and Stephanie of Paper Doll Events and instantly connected with them and wanted to go ahead with the wedding plan, round two. We both felt like a huge weight had been lifted and knew we were in such great hands. These girls are so professional, organized, patient, knowledgeable and incredibly talented. They have AMAZING vendor connections and literally everyone that knows them adore's them, they are so sweet. Our wedding was everything I could have ever dreamed of and more. They totally understood the vibe we were going for and blew us away with their venue and design proposals while staying within budget. We can both honestly say, hiring Paper Doll Events is the best money we spent and made the whole wedding process an absolute breeze. We had absolutely no stress leading up to our wedding or day of and everything turned out beyond perfect and went so smoothly. Even with a few minor setbacks due to weather, Lindsay and Stephanie calmly and efficiently worked around it. We had the best day ever and got a million compliments on every aspect of our wedding. I want to go back and do it all again! Endless thanks to Lindsay and Stephanie!
